The Branch Managers of InStar Services came together in Nashville, Tennessee to volunteer a day of their time for the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity. Their project was to construct a wall panel for the Timberwood Community, one of the newer Habitat neighborhoods. The wall our men constructed was used to build a home for prospective homeowner Danielle Morrison.
Dealing with disasters during the holiday season is especially daunting for everyone concerned. Last Christmas, InStar teamed up with local Massachusetts area businesses to play Santa to some deserving heroes.
Liquori Pizza in West Springfield had been serving close to 70 pizzas for firefighters in Western Massachusetts every Christmas Eve. InStar decided to get in on the action. While Liquori’s made and delivered the pies to those working the Christmas shift, InStar took care of the rest in the form of a “pizza donation.”
We’re pleased to say we picked out the right gifts for these brave men and women. Rumor has it the “packages” were opened and finished in about 20 minutes.
